So much of what we “think” we know about the teen brain is just not true. And so much that we need to know about our teenager’s brain is not well understood.

The decisions your teen makes can have a deep and long-lasting impact on their life. Choices related to sex and sexuality, alcohol and other drugs, schooling, vocations, and just whether or not they’ll listen to us can cast long shadows, or bring long-term happiness. As a parent, understanding your teen’s grey matter, matters!  You will be their greatest guide through this often tumultuous period. But believe it or not, the teen years don’t have to be baffling, and you don’t have to be afraid.
